Breathable Membranes

Description

The Aston Breathable Membrane range provides professional-grade roofing underlay for use beneath tiles, slates, or shingles on homes, sheds, garages, and slated or pitched roofs. Manufactured by thermally bonding two non-woven polypropylene layers with a microporous film in between, the membrane forms a breathable, waterproof barrier that allows moisture vapour to escape from the roof structure while keeping the elements out.

Lightweight and easy to handle on site for both DIY and trade use, it offers enhanced tear strength for durable, long-term performance and is engineered to perform reliably across a wide variety of pitched roof systems. The range is available in multiple weights (90 GSM to 170 GSM) and roll sizes to suit different coverage needs, all of which are UV stable, water resistant to W1 standard, and CE approved. Should be installed by experienced slaters or tilers and stored flat, or on end, on a clean, level surface under cover.
